Cacao x coffee.
Residency at ‘Zwart’!
With very few cacao geeks in sight, what does a cacao fiend in Antwerp do? Cuddle up with the coffee kids, of course! From May 23 until July 15, me and my chocolates can be found at Zwart (temporary coffee lab situated at De Coninkplein) on Wednesdays and Fridays, from 10am until 6pm.
Titillating chocolate tasting meets adventurous coffee drinking… If Pantoufle’s heart is shaped like a cacao pod, then Isabelle and Roeland’s (Zwart’s founders) must beam like a juicy, bright red coffee bean! Cacao and coffee thrive in each other’s company, on their native terroirs as well as on our tongues. Ironically though, up until now, I’ve never been much of a coffee drinker, so there is lots for me and my taste buds to learn. All this knowledge I hope to take back with me into the cacao realm.
Obviously, I’m taking you on that adventure with me! Come meet me and my chocolates on Wednesdays and Fridays, or drop in for our weekly chocolate tastings, every Wednesday at 3pm (starting June 13). Zwart is a little gem and absolutely unique in Antwerp, but it won’t last! It’s a temporary project which means that it will irrevocably close on July 15, so stop by before it’s too late!
Every Wednesday and Friday, from 10am-6pm (other days on request).
Tastings every Wednesday (from June 13 until July 11) between 3pm and 5pm (come in time!)
